Alexandra Snowden (Buffalo, NY 1989) earned her BFA in Fiber and Material Studies from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2011. Snowden primarily works in cutout drawings, sculpture and installation. She has been awarded multiple scholarships and awards for her work and academic achievements including The Cleveland Institute of Art Portfolio Scholarship, The Cleveland Institute of Art Honorary Scholarship, and the Barbara L. Kuhlman Scholarship. Snowden's recent exhibitions include "Pixels" at LMNT, "The 3rd Annual Gala" at The Young at Art Museum, and "Art Fallout: Drawn In" at Girls' Club. She has recently been invited to create an on-site installation and exhibit recent works at The Young at Art Museum, opening in October 2014. Snowden currently works between Philadelphia and South Florida.
